Procedures for Opening a NEW AccountTo help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents. Our expanded membership allows YOU to join our Credit Union!The best way is by having a connection to one of our affiliate employers: Check our Affiliate EmployersIf you are not eligible through one of our affiliate employers above, you may choosing the option to make a $5 donation, and become a member of Gold Coast while helping us support a local school PTA. It’s that easy to “Come to the Coast for More”! BECOME A MEMBERJoin us by following the online instructions, or go to any Gold Coast branch or service center location and a representative will be glad to assist you. OTHER OPTIONS FOR CURRENT MEMBERS: ADD AN ACCOUNTFor existing members to add another deposit account to their current membership such as a savings, checking, CD or money market account. CHECK STATUSFor new and existing members to check the status of an account or loan application.
